MESOTHERAPY
Mesotherapy is the teatment of mesoderm. The target region is treated through the injection of specially prepared medication with fine needle points to the middle segment of the skin which develops in mesoderm. The treatment consists of both the effects of the injected medicine and the mobilization of the immune system by the skin to protect itself against the minimal traumas caused by the injections. Firstly, blood flow and circulation speed up and the tissue feeding is increased in the region.
Mesotherapy is mostly used in medicine for lifting and recovery in cellulite treatments, for skin rejuvenation and hair treatment.
What are the fields of use for mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is used for the following reasons:
- In aesthetic medicine
- For regions with cellulite
- Local thinning
- Skin rejuvenation (face, neck, low-neck, hands...)
- Skin lifting (face, neck, arms, insides of legs, belly...)
- Stretch marks, scars
- Hair loss, weak hair strands
- In which cases can it not be used?
The following persons cannot receive mesotherapy:
- Persons with serious cardiac insufficiency,
- Diabetes patients,
- Patients of chronic kidney diseases,
- Patients recieving anti-coagulant therapy,
- Persons with bleeding and clotting disorders,
- Pregnant women.
How long does the application take?
Depending on the region, the application takes about 15-20 minutes. Emla cream is applied to the region 20-30 minutes beforehand if the mesotherapy will be applied to the face, low-neck or to the hands.
How many sessions are needed?
Depending on the person and the problem of the person, the application takes about 8-10 sessions. The number of sessions may reach up to 15-20 depending on the expectation and the response of the person. Time interval between the sessions is 1 week for cellulite and local thinning treatments. The frequency of the mesotherapy aimed at skin rejuvenation may change depending on the person and the other operations applied. In general, 2-4 sessions with 3-4 weeks of interval is enough.
What are the things to be paid attention to after application?
Nothing affects the daily life of the person after the application. The person is advised not to come into contact with water for 8 hours and to avoid doing sports, the steam bath and the sun to prevent the sweating of the medicine out of the body .
